As we wrote earlier in the monthly report, we made an extension for Google Chrome that allows you to get basic information about the Keep network, and also has (for now) one interesting feature — the substitution of TDT in tBTC DApp.
Next, I will tell you more about this project.
Idea
We thought that it is not very convenient for the user to open KeepScan every time or enter the tBTC DApp address in order to get basic information about the Keep network or perform an operation. Therefore, we decided to make an extension that we plan to develop in the future.
Installation
The extension is currently awaiting publication in the Chrome Store, but you can install and start using it.
To start using our extension:
- download and unzip the archive https://github.com/emerido/keepscan-chrome-ext/releases/download/1.0/KeepscanChromeExtension.zip;
- go to Extensions(chrome://extensions/);
- in the upper right corner of the window, enable Developer mode;
- click “Load unpacked”;
- select the unpacked folder with the extension;
Done! The extension is installed and you can start using it.
Use-cases
Using the KeepScan Chrome Extension you can:
- get basic information about the Keep network;
- go to keepscan.com by clicking on the logo in the extension header;
- go to tBTC DApp by clicking on the link in the footer;
- and the coolest feature — go to the Redeem tBTC DApp page, run the extension, select the lot size and it will be automatically inserted into the TDT field!
Future plans
In the near future, I plan to add even more new features to the Extension so that all the information you need is at your fingertips.
